We will be receiving more professional development this coming Monday, 10/14/19 on the “Why,” “What,” and “How” of Teacher Clarity. As we learn more about teacher clarity, we are always striving towards that ideal state. After professional development, PLC time, planning, safe time to practice, coaching and feedback, and peer observations, we hope to be at the ideal state below.
IDEAL STATE OF TEACHER CLARITY
1. Students will be able to communicate (verbally, written,
demonstrate…) to you/others the learning intention
2. Students will be able to communicate to you/others what it takes to be successful in their work
3. Students will be able to connect the work to the learning intentions and success criteria
4. Students will be able to self-reflect and self-assess where who they performed in the task and what they learned and communicate to you and others
Field Trip Permission Slips-
Please make sure all field trip permission slips have the
student’s name (legibly) and parent signature on all forms. We have had legal implications from years ago
due to this issue.
School Tours-
As a reminder at any point during the school
week we may be giving a school tour
