Crown Point Junior Music Academy
Monday Morning Memo
4/15/19-4/19/19

Thank you for your diligent work on your formative assessments.  During our data meetings, you shared with me your assessments in reading, writing, and math and discussed with me the next steps in your PLC.  I appreciate you working diligently on your data to truly know who your students are.  I also appreciate the common formative assessments that grade levels are creating as a team.  This allows for alignment and a Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum.  Below are samples of formative data collection.  I appreciate your analysis of student work supporting the next steps in instruction.  Thank you!!!

Instructional Focus-

Please ensure that your daily schedules are updated.   I will be going into classrooms based on your schedule you have shared with me.  I will continue to come to your classrooms with the lens of Tier 1 Instruction and Guided Reading.  I will also be conducting a data sweep of effective practices based on our professional development this year.

Once again, here is the link to the “Updated Tier 1 Look-Fors”.  Within these presentations you can review the effective practices I will be observing.

Math Number Talks-
As a reminder, please administer your grade level math pretest before our Professional development on Monday, 4/15/19 @ 1:00.  We will be scoring and analyzing the student work as well as considering the next steps.

SBAC Testing-
Here is the link to the final SBAC testing schedule.

PLC Release-
Please ensure that you get your subs requested within the next two weeks for your grade level PLC.  Once your day has been approved by me (we do not want multiple grade levels released on the same day ideally), then please see Cathy to ensure that your day gets on the master calendar.

Recess Duty-
